As recently reported in the San Antonio Express News, San Antonio Spurs star Tim Duncan appeared personally in Federal Court this morning in regards to a lawsuit he filed against a former financial adviser.

Tim Duncan originally filed the lawsuit in Bexar County in San Antonio. However, Charles Banks, the former financial adviser and defendant in the lawsuit removed the suit to Federal Court and is now seeking to force Tim Duncan to arbitration in California, or to move a portion of the case to Colorado according to the Express News. 

Tim Duncan appeared personally in the Court of District Judge Xavier Rodriguez and stated to the media that he wanted to be there to ‘kind of show that (he) is serious (about the litigation).
