As recently reported in the San Antonio Express News, San Antonio Attorney Michael McCrum has been appointed as special prosecutor to hear an ethics complaint that was filed against Governor Rick Perry.

The former Federal Prosecutor from San Antonio will review the complaint that Rick Perry used coercion and bribery to threaten to cut funding for Austin Travis Ccounty district attorneys office’s public integrity unit unless Rosemary Lehmberg, the Travis County District Attorney resigned.
