As recently reported in the San Antonio Express News, the family of a Mexican couple who drowned on September 2010 on the Guadlaipe River have filed a federal lawsuit accusing the New Braunfels tube rental firm of negligence. 

The lawsuit, which is filed in the United States District Court in San Antonio asserts that employees of The Hideout at Whitewater Sports failed to the alert the plaintiffs of the hazard caused by river flows.
