As recently noted in the San Antonio Express News, Cafe Punta Del Cielo, a Mexican Coffee chain with over 180 locations in Mexico, Spain and Hong Kong has chosen San Antonio as its American Headquarters and location to open its first American location. 

The Mexican business started in 2004 and has plans to expand across the United States.

The City of San Antonio has made strong efforts as of late to lure Mexican businesses to San Antonio, including restaurants. As noted in the article, last August, the San Antonio Mayor hosted a luncheon in Mexico City to promote opportunies in San Antonio.
