As recently reported in the San Antonio Business Journal, two Texas companies (one in San Antonio and another in Houston) are battling in Court over the use of their trade name.

The founder of Automodeals LLC in Houston has filed a lawsuit against the San Antonio based tech startup AutomoDeals Inc. The lawsuit has been filed in the Western District of Texas – San Antonio Federal Court.

The Houston based Plaintiff is seeking an injunction which would bar the San Antonio business from using the ‘Automodeals’ name. According to the article the Houston based business has been in operating since 2013, while the San Antonio business was incorporated in Delaware in October.
