As recently reported in the San Antonio Business Journal, San Antonio based business Frost National Bank is closing four locations located in the Rio Grnade Valley. 

The Frost Bank locations in Donna, Pharr, Raymonville and Harlingen will be closing by the end of 2012 according to the business journal. 

San Antonio based Frost Bank purchased the business assets of Alamo Bank of Texas in 2006. According to the article, in the state of Texas, San Antonio’s Frost Bank was the seventh largest bank in terms of deposits in 2011.
