As recently reported in the San Antonio Express News, a DWI case against a South Texas appeals Judge who failed a field sobriety test, Justice Longoria, has been dismissed.

Longoria, a Justice on the 13th Court of Appeals in McAllen was pulled over this past summer for going 69 MPH in a 55 MPH area. A field sobriety test was administered, but a breathalyzer test was not. The case was dismissed on November 20, 2014.

Accoring to the article, Longoria stated she had been having dinner with friends and drank five beers with the last drink being three hours before she got behind the wheel.
