As recently reported in the Austin Business Journal, a new office tower is set to break ground in downtown Austin. The tower, which is largely glass, will be at the corner of Cesar Chavez and San Antonio Street at the location of the former water treatment plant. Notably, this is approximately 1 city block from DLG Luce’s Austin office. 

While there has been a lot of downtown construction as of late, most of the buildings are residential or hotel space. The addition of new office space in downtown Austin well be helpful in what has become a competitive commercial rental market.
