DLGLS Attorneys Attend NAFTA Immigration and Trade Forum

The partners at DLG Luce Salazar PLLC recently had the pleasure to attend a forum on the future of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) hosted by the Free Trade Alliance and the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The event was headlined by two guest speakers, Congressman Henry Cuellar and Congressman Will Hurd and it took place at the Stable at the Pearl Brewery.

Committed to staying abreast on all legal and political developments that could affect international trade and immigration, DLG Luce Salazar PLLC found the event to be an excellent opportunity to get two local Congressional members’ take on the future of the agreement and any potential changes.

As discussed in a recent article published by the San Antonio Business Journal, both Congressional speakers highlighted that should a ‘NAFTA 2.0’ be approved and become law, they would do what they can to urge the Executive Branch to hold the law signing ceremony in San Antonio, where the original NAFTA was signed into law in 1992.
