As recently reported in the Associated Press, Randi Stanford, the daugher of imprisoned Texas businessman R. Allen Stanford could potentially face federal contempt of court charges stemming from her fight to keep her 1.3 million dollar condominium in Houston, Texas. 

Federal District Court Judge David C. Godbey this week ordered Stanford to appear at a hearing in the Houston, Texas District Court on January 28th. 

The issue largely stems from Stanford’s battle against a court appointed receiver who is attempting to sell her 2,800 square foot condominium. 

Her father, Allen Stanford, continues to deny the government’s claims that Stanford violated the law by leading a 7 billion dollar ponzi scheme.
