As recently reported in the San Antonio Business Journal, A Texas Judge has temporariliy blocked work on a portion of the Keystone pipeline in Nacogdoches County, Texas until a hearing can be held on December 19, 2012. 

The lawsuit was filed by landowner Michael Bishop who claimed that the tar sands oil that would be transported does not meet state and Federal definitions of crude oil. 

According to the article, Texas refiners including San Antonio Valero Energy has expressed interest in purchasing some of the crude.
