As noted in the article, San Antonio business leaders including the Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerance and the Free Trade Alliance are playing an active role in pushing the renegotiation of NAFTA toward a positve outcome.

The article further notes, that NAFTA is particularly significant for San Antonio, noting that a recent analysis concluded that NAFTA created 63,204 direct jobs in the San Antonio economy.
