DLG Luce – Austin – Texas A&M Student Order to Pay 22 Million in Damages

As was recently reported in the Austin American Statesman, a Texas jury in Franklin, Texas decided that a Texas A&M student, Reed Vestal, was texting while driving and caused a deadly wreck.

The victim of the collision was a senior at Baylor University driving to Waco in November 2007 when it occurred.

Attorney Hunter Craft, the attorney for the victim’s family, was quoted as saying that Vestal decalred bankruptcy prior to the civil trial.
