DLG Luce – Austin & San Antonio – Texas State Attorney General Sues Bally

According to an article recently published in the San Antonio Express News, the Texas State Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against Bally Total fitness for alleged violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act committed by the fitness center.

According to the article, Bally allegedly sent deceptive past due notices to many members, which drove more than 1,000 Texans to make payments to Bally.

The enforcement action, according to the article, charges Bally with intentionally attempting to confuse former members so they would pay the deceptive bills.
