As recently reported in the Austin American Statesman, lawyers for Michael Morton, who was recently freed from a Willamson County jail sentence after being exonerated by DNA, have asked a district judge to enforce subpoenas ordering two former Willamson County prosectors to testify. 

Earlier this week, the two former prosecutors, District Court Judge Ken Anderson and Round Rock lawyer Mike Davis, filed motions to quash the subpoenas.

After serving almost 25 years in prison, Morton was declared innocent and his conviction and life sentence were tossed out.
