As recently reported in the Austin American Statesman, 12 Travis County Grand Jurors and two alternates have been chosen who will consider possible criminal charges against Governor Rick Perry.

According to the article, more than 30 potential jurors were considered. The Austin grand jury will consider whether the Governor illegally withheld money from the Travis County District Attorney’s office. 

The issue being considered is whether or not Governor Perry’s veto of more than 7 million in funding to the Travis County Public Integrity Unit was legal.
